(John Bernard) Whittaker, American New York, b. 1836, listed in Mallett's, Fielding's, and Davenport's. 32 1/2" by 39" with frame   $2,100
"Courting on the Alps" oil on canvas, probably around 1860s, measures 48" by 38" from frame edge, very well done, unsigned. "Mother and Child at River's Edge" oil on canvas, artist signed "Henry Pope" (1843~1908) British, listed in Davenport's, with frame a total of 25 1/2" by 31".  $1,895

"Rocky Coastline" c. 1880 oil on canvas by William Ongley,  measures  33" by 49" from outer frame edge, signed "W. Ongley"  New York, (1836-1890) probably original frame, artist listed in Davenport's guide  $3,300
"The Cottage" Impressionistic style oil on canvas, signed and dated "Grace Elliott 1907." British 19th / 20th Century Elliott exhibited works at the Royal Society of Artists Birmingham, Walker Art Gallery Liverpool, and The London Salon, and the Royal Academy. $1,050 "Lady in Blue" portrait oil on canvas signed "C. Deventer" (Claude Maric) and dated 1850, French artist listed in Davenport's. Unusual vibrant blue, notice jewelry - a lady from wealth. Frame is 3.5" wide and newer than painting, but complements. $2,500

  "Girls at Beach" oil  on canvas on wooden board signed "J Weiss" c. 1950 European, Dutch region. Panel is 18 1/2" by 6 1/4". Frame measures 2".  No crazing. $675.

"Resting" c. 1900 oil on wood board c. 1900 landscape. Artist signed "Constance C." lower right - Older frame is  3". Painting is 13 & 1/2 " by 11". $895. 

"Duck Family by the Bridge" - oil on canvas painting, signed "M. J. Feenstra", c.1930. Frame is about 3" wide. $950  c. 1875 "Cookham Church"  signature  illegible to us.  Painting by itself 27 1/2" by 36 - and with frame measures 34 1/2" by 42". $2,600
 "Vivid Mums" oil on canvas, signed "A. Funcke" and dated 1905. European painting, probably German. Colors are exceptional. Frame is 4.5" wide. $925 "Boy with His Dogs" unsigned - Oil on Canvas laid on linen canvas (lined), measures 13& 1/2" 18& 1/2". Frame original to painting and 1 & 1/2". Two well done minor touch-ups show only under black light.  $395

"Filling jugs" Abraham Van Stry oil on WOOD  c. 1840 - artist listed in Davenport's art guide. Panel measures 12 3/4" by 8 3/4" - Frame is 2 3/4 " and is from same period. Well executed. $1,500.

"Cows Headed to Pasture" c. 1920. Canvas is 12" by 18" - Frame is of the same time period and measures 1 1/2". - Artist signed "C. V. Fasenni", Two small old restorations with minimal in-painting on back. $695
